I’m all for decoupling Internet Explorer from Windows, but not including a browser in the retail release of your software seems like one of the least consumer-friendly decisions possible.  The only way to get a browser is via CD or knowing the correct FTP server to nab stuff of of.  (Or copying from another computer via flash drive, which seems most likely.)  I suppose people buying actual copies of Windows (as opposed to new OEM machines) will tend to be more technical, but even so, what a pain.

Looks like Juberti’s past year at Google has been spent… making Gmail’s built in AJAX chat support AIM screennames.  Honestly though, this is pretty useful, and will probably will stop me from ever using Meebo again.  I imagine that a lot of other people will feel thae same way — sorry Meebo, it’s been fun.
