Got to play with a Vaio P at a Sony store this weekend. The 1600 pixel wide screen really does substantially set it apart from other Atom based machines (since Sony insists it’s not a netbook.) That said, please don’t ever try to carry this thing in your pocket.

I’m still having a tough time accepting it, but no, this isn’t fake.

I don’t know if this would be too annoying, but it seems like it could be immensely useful.

I wrote a little Javascript bookmarklet to change the size of Safari’s viewport on the iPhone. Good for sites that are too zoomed in or zoomed out on the iPhone.

Since it’s just a Webkit view, Tumblr doesn’t need to go through the App Store to make updates like this.  I am concerned that using a “Show More” link instead of the old pagination is liable to eat up all the iPhone’s RAM when looking further back, though.
